Welcome to Gurukul

Namaste -Gurukul is an ancient Vedic tradition from India."Guru" means a spiritual master,a guiding principle of God and "Kul" mean family.Receiving Vidya(knowledge) while staying with Guru's family.
Guru -Disciple tradition is a very sacred tradition where God guiding principle is guiding the disciple at all levels -physically,mentally ,spiritualy to attain the purpose of life which is called " Moksha"in sanskrit, means liberation from death and birth cycle.
In the Gurukul whole universe is our classroom .Here in this blog I'm documenting the guidance provided by Guru principle and efforts to make education of the children as a spiritual Journey.
I'm homeschooling my two children using Waldorf Inspired education and Hindu Vedic Dharma Principles.
Hope it will inspire others to bring spirituality in their lives and their children as per Vedic Dharma in today's modern times.
